The maps presented by Easy-SMTA should be interpreted as follows:

  • Some small island countries are not shown in order to reduce the amount of data being downloaded to your browser. Higher resolution maps may be made available in the future;
  • In some countries, the presence of International organizations such as the CGIAR Centers may significantly contribute to the number of SMTAs and Samples shown for those countries;
  • The boundaries and names shown and the designations used on this map do not imply the expression of any opinion whatsoever on the part of FAO concerning the legal status of any country, territory, city or area or of its authorities, or concerning the delimitation of its frontiers and boundaries. Dotted or dashed lines on maps represent approximate border lines for which there may not yet be full agreement;
